Coaching Students with Decision Point
Hi! My name is Jon Strietzel, and I’m excited to serve with Decision Point as we seek to reach students with the hope of the Gospel. My years as a middle and high school student were incredibly influential in my walk with the Lord and helped shape my passion for student ministry. That passion led me to study Youth Ministry at Moody Bible Institute, and since then I’ve spent many years serving in youth and children’s ministry.
I joined the Decision Point team because I believe Gospel-advancing ministry is a calling from the Lord and an opportunity to help more students hear about the wonderful love of Jesus. My prayer is that students would not only place their faith in Christ, but also grow into bold disciple-makers who impact their schools and communities for Him. I’m excited to see how God will continue to work in and through this ministry in the lives of students across Chicagoland and beyond.
