I think I speak more truthfully when I say that this job found me, not the other way around.
I have had a passion for students and student ministry since I was 17 years old. I felt the Lord clearly speaking to me to serve in student ministry and have never looked back. I have served in student ministries mentoring, discipling, and leading for over 10 years. Within that time, my love and passion for students has only grown.
In my professional career, I have focused on creating clear channels of communication both internally and externally. My goal is to answer questions before they are asked. Because of the type of work I do, I often write on behalf of the organization. This can be a daunting task, but one that I thoroughly enjoy. Along the way, I felt convicted to use my skills for the Kingdom. If I was going to write in the voice of an organization and back what they're about, I want to fully believe and confidently back what the mission and message of the organization. That's the reason why I have served in gospel-centered ministries for the past six years.
The work that Decision Point is doing, and the role that I am in seamlessly connects both my passion to see students come to know Christ and my desire to create communication strategy for the sake of His name. I am thrilled to work alongside like-minded folks and I am encouraged by the work that Decision Point has done in the past. Looking forward, I pray that this is just the beginning! I pray for revival among schools in the US and beyond. I pray that my work is significant in bringing the gospel to schools. But most importantly, I pray it is all glorifying to God!
I'm passionate about what is happening here at Decision Point and I encourage you to join me in the journey of seeing more students come to know Christ as their Savior!
