Coaching Students as a Decision Point Lead Coach

I’m excited to serve as a Lead Coach in Chicago with Decision Point this year! Decision Point  coaches Christian students at public middle and high schools to reach their campus for Christ. As a Lead Coach, my mission is to equip Christian students and send them as missionaries to share the gospel on the campuses I will oversee this year.

Why I Feel Called to This Role

Hey! My name is Jazzmyn Prado and I am so grateful and excited to be serving with the Decision Point Team as a lead coach this year! I first partnered with DP as a highschooler through my church, looking for way to promote the christian club at my highschool. I was astonished by the amount of support, guidance and mentorship that I received so that the name of Jesus could be known throughout my school! Now, as a full-time student at Moody Bible Institute, I hope to continue empowering and encouraging students in Chicagoland to be bold in their faith and sharing the good news! I remember as a believer in public highschool how terrifying it was to share about my faith or even start a conversation about Jesus.I remember thinking that I couldn’t do it or that nobody cared. Now looking back, I realize how many of my friends were lost, hurting and searching for hope. My prayer is that as I serve in this role, God may empower, embolden and strengthen these students to unashamedly share the gospel, grow in their faith and make disciples!
