Coaching Students as a Decision Point Lead Coach

Hi! My name is Hannah Estrada, and I’m so excited to be serving with Decision Point. One of the most beautiful things to witness is seeing a student on fire for Jesus go onto their school campus and spread the gospel with their friends, peers, and even teachers. I've seen this very story happen time and time again and in my own life.

Why I Feel Called to This Role

I’ve had the privilege of doing outreaches in my own school alongside Decision Point as a student and saw hundreds of kids give their life to Christ. I saw LGBTQ students transformed by the gospel, and my school gym filled with 400 + students just to hear the good news of Christ. I feel called to this role because I truly believe God is doing something big in our generation. I see the need our youth has and the calling God has over them: to restore them and give them a new life. By being a part of this ministry, not only will this dream become a reality for the students I’ll be coaching, but it will be the start to a movement among students of Whittier.  I want to respond to the amazing grace that Jesus has given by serving in this role. My hope and dream as I coach these students is for them to not only be students who shine bright with the gospel on their campuses, but that they too would also find themselves falling in with the one who loved them first. My prayer is that God would captivate and activate these students with His love and give them a heart for His people.
