Coaching Students as a Decision Point Lead Coach

I’m excited to serve as a Lead Coach in Chicago with Decision Point this year! Decision Point  coaches Christian students at public middle and high schools to reach their campus for Christ. As a Lead Coach, my mission is to equip Christian students and send them as missionaries to share the gospel on the campuses I will oversee this year.

Why I Feel Called to This Role

Hi! My name is Flora Buursma, and I’m so excited to be serving with Decision Point as a lead coach this year. For the past few months, I’ve been working as a volunteer to coach high school students in their faith as they lead their classmates to Jesus. It’s been such a joy to see their excitement in sharing the Gospel and shedding the light of Christ where it's needed most. As a missionary kid, I’ve gotten to witness so many lost sheep return home, and Decision Point strives to do exactly that! It’s a ministry that has brought so much life into public schools, and I’m honored to be part of something that cares so much for God and His creation. This coming year, I’m so excited to invest in high school students as they’re sent out to be missionaries every day, and I can’t wait to see how God works through this ministry!
