Coaching Students as a Decision Point Lead Coach

I’m excited to serve as a Lead Coach in Chicago with Decision Point this year! Decision Point  coaches Christian students at public middle and high schools to reach their campus for Christ. As a Lead Coach, my mission is to equip Christian students and send them as missionaries to share the gospel on the campuses I will oversee this year.

Why I Feel Called to This Role

Hello! My name is Fernando Castro, I am beyond excited to work with Decision Point as a lead coach and also truly grateful for this opportunity the Lord has given me! I remember praying my freshman year for God to move in my high school and now in my senior year getting the opportunity to be a student leader at my school was amazing! It’s not always easy but it’s worth it to be able to evangelize is to have love for the people of this world because telling them the truth of Jesus Christ is true love! Seeing God lift up bold and passionate students has been such a blessing and I know he will continue to work in such an amazing way! Being able to be part of Decision Point and see more students have a heart for God is honestly amazing and I will always be thankful to God for this opportunity, I can't wait to see what God is going to do in Elgin and especially in Illinois I know there is going to be a great revival with the youth of this generation in Jesus mighty name!!!
