Coaching Students as a Decision Point Lead Coach

I’m excited to serve as a Lead Coach in Chicago with Decision Point this year! Decision Point  coaches Christian students at public middle and high schools to reach their campus for Christ. As a Lead Coach, my mission is to equip Christian students and send them as missionaries to share the gospel on the campuses I will oversee this year.

Why I Feel Called to This Role

Hey! I’m Caleb Hunter and I am so thankful to take part in this ministry! I joined Decision Point in the first place because I realized after graduating high school I had built deep relationships with many of my friends but never shared my faith with them. When I heard about the work of DP, I immediately thought about how much that would have meant to me as a student. After taking a gap year of Bible School in Austria and Germany, I feel like God has poured into me so that I can pour back out into other Christian students who want to share their faith but don’t know where to start. It has already been so incredible to see students mobilized to share the gospel, and I want to be in a position to make that possible for even more students. God is so good, and his good news is worth spreading to everybody. In the bible God consistently uses young people, David, King Josiah, and even the disciples, to do incredible things. The younger our fire for the Lord can be lit, the more He can transform our hearts, and He will be able to use us as vessels to achieve even more! I want to help pass that on to the next generation, and start those fires early!
