Santa Clara High School is a school that is being coached by the West Silicon Valley team of the Bay Area Chapter. The Christian club there, called the Ignite Club actually had a very challenging genesis. Because there was already a Christian club in the school, the Associated Student Body the students' proposal for the Ignite Club. These leaders however, were determined to have a Christian club in school that has its vision set on bringing the gospel to the lost students on campus! After a year of legal battles, the club was able to form. Please join us in praying for Santa Clara High School!
Prayer Requests:
1. Our Meant for Week on 3/2-3/6 (Monday = Witnessing Table in Courtyard, Tuesday = Apologetics Q&A, Wednesday = Lunchtime Witnessing, Thursday = William Green Rally, Friday = Student Testimony)
2. Healthy relationships with school administration. The VP of Activities has been good to work with so far.
3. For many lost students to confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
4. For follow-up to go well! We want to see more Christian students commit to joining the Christian clubs and the new Christians to get discipled (primarily at their churches).

"The Bay Area is known for many things, but vibrant worship of Jesus is not one of them," says NSP's Bay Area Chapter Director, Barnaby Lee. "This population consists of the highest percentage of unchurched and de-churched people than any other metropolitan area in the country. However, there is movement building in this generation of students, the gospel is going forth from teenagers, and lives are being restored. There is only one explanation: God is on the move, and He is moving powerfully!"
