GOD IS THE CREATOR & KING OF THE WORLD

GOD IS THE CREATOR & KING OF THE WORLD so we should obey and follow Him.

GOD MADE THE WORLD AND EVERYTHING IN IT. “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth.” Acts 17:24

GOD MADE EACH OF US PERSONALLY. "For you formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalm 139:13-14.

Why do we see so many problems in our lives and world today?

WE HAVE ALL SINNED AGAINST GOD

WE HAVE ALL SINNED AGAINST GOD so we are separated from Him and will face His judgement.

BECAUSE OF OUR SIN…

WE ARE UNCLEAN BEFORE GOD. . “Out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” Mark 7:21-23

WE ARE SEPARATED FROM GOD . “Your sins have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, He has turned away.” Isaiah 59:2

WE DESERVE DEATH AND HELL. “For the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23

Jesus also warned us about God’s judgement in Hell - a place of great darkness, unquenchable fire, and final separation from God. Matthew 25:41

How can we be saved from our sin?

GOD IN HIS LOVE SENT JESUS

GOD IN HIS LOVE SENT JESUS who died to pay the penalty for our sin and rose from the dead.

JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS TO TAKE OUR PUNISHMENT. “He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins... All of us, like sheep, have strayed away… Yet the Lord laid on Him the sins of us all.” Isaiah 53:5-6

JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD, PROVING HE IS THE SON OF GOD. “He was shown to be the Son of God when He was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 1:4

JESUS SHOWS GOD’S LOVE FOR US.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

TRUSTING IN CHRIST MEANS WE...

REPENT OF OUR SIN. This means we must admit that we are sinners and turn to Jesus to be our Lord and Savior. The Bible says, “Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.” Acts 3:19

BELIEVE IN HIM TO SAVE US, NOT OUR GOOD WORKS. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

RECEIVE HIM AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR. “But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12

So how will you respond?

THERE ARE ONLY TWO WAYS TO LIVE. Either we turn to Jesus and be saved, or we live life our own way and face God’s judgment. The Bible says, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” John 3:36

JESUS IS CALLING YOU TO TRUST IN HIM TODAY. He is offering to forgive you of all your sins, make you part of His family, and change your life from the inside out. The Bible says, “Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:21

Is there anything that would keep you from trusting in Jesus today?

EXAMPLE PRAYER. “Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner. I am sorry for going my own way, but I want to follow You. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again from the dead. Please forgive me of all my sins and be my Lord and Savior. Amen.”
