The last couple years students have been coached at John F. Kennedy high school. It’s an inner city school and seeing fights, gang related activities and lockdowns are not all that uncommon to see. This last spring, Joey Martinez and other Decision Point team members got to help them host a classroom outreach. The team got to see 1 student made a first-time commitment to follow Jesus and 4 students made recommitments. Here’s how students responded to the gospel. Lilly (9th grade), who made a first-time decision to follow Jesus, said, "Jesus is always with us." Silas (10th grade) recommitted, saying, "It showed me how God changed someone's life." READ MORE |
Our heart for Sacramento is to see Christian youth equipped to proclaim the gospel.
To see the lost saved, unchurched youth go to church and learn what it means to follow Jesus, and to see the church strengthened and edified as more youth pastors and leaders are equipped to coach their own youth for gospel proclamation among their peers on campus. Will you join us on our mission to proclaim the gospel to the next generation, till every student has heard?

Students Give God’s Word
This last year Enrique was a senior at Desert View High School. There had not been an active Bible club on his campus since the COVID shut downs. This year he decided that he was going to restart his club so that he could start teaching the Bible to his fellow students at his school and reach them with the gospel.
One of the ways that Enrique did that last year was by handing out Bibles, Gospel of John Life Books, and candy canes with the gospel and an invitation to his club attached. One Thursday, during their lunch period, Enrique and 5 of the other students in the Bible club set up a table with the Bibles and candy cane invitations and started walking around the campus handing them all out to whoever they could find.
